Rhubarb Crisp

What you will need:

6 – 8 cups rhubarb (with about one fourth to one half cup sugar on top)

1 cup flour

1 cup brown sugar

half cup butter

half teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 375

2. Dice the rhubarb and top it with sugar if desired, place in a large bowl.

3. Work with a pastry blender or with fingers the flour, sugar, butter, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Work this until it is a crumbled topping. Do not overwork it.

4. Spread the crumble mixture over the rhubarb.

5. Bake for 30 minutes.
